subfloor preparation

Both commercial and residential examples illustrate our thorough preparation technniques. The first example is a high-end Denver residence that includes a spa-type bathroom. The spa has a raised Jacuzzi tub with a built-in fireplace as well as heated floors; all floors are mosaic tile.

In the second example, a luxury hotel bathroom rennovation at the Brown Palace Hotel in Denver is illustrated.

Measure and cut the Schluter-Ditra membrane.

6.1 Schlüter®-DITRA is a polyethylene membrane with a grid structure of square, cut-back cavities and an anchoring fleece laminated to its underside.  In conjunction with tiled coverings, Schlüter®-DITRA forms an uncoupling, waterproofing, and vapor pressure equalization layer.
